I can explode like a bomb! get it?
Bomb is a bomb, And a bird, A bomb bird! he is one of the most powerful birds and one of the pigs’ worst nightmare, he possesses the ability to literally blow up whenever he is surprised, angry, sad, or just feeling stress in general, basically, his emotional state determines weather or not his power will be activated. The problem with that is the fact that as a living person, Bomb will always feel emotion, thus it’s very hard for him to control his short fuse and he will unintentionally go BANG!

Bomb is a trigger-happy party animal who LOVES to blow stuff up for fun, this happened because he has gotten so used to blowing up intentionally multiple times when fighting the pigs that it has became a habit of his to blow up anything near him for his satisfaction. Bomb is a very immature bird, he would do anything for fun with barely any concern for the consequences, he is so immature that he has driven Red crazy, but got along really well with The Blues, however, he is secretly self aware of how uncontrollable he is, so he occasionally goes to soak in hot springs, drink teas, or eating ice cream to help himself relax.

    That's a lotta damage!

    Angry Birds

The fourth bird type to be introduced, Bomb has the ability to explode, applying a huge amount of force to anything near him in the process, the amount of damage it can cause depends on where the bird exploded, the more destructible things there are around him, the more destruction will be done, the player has three options when it comes to activating the explosion.

Option 1: Detonate the bird before he hits anything.

Option 2: Detonate the bird after he hit something (Bomb is the first bird in the game who is capable of using his power post-impact).

Option 3: Similar to option 2, but instead of detonating the bird manually, the bird will instead detonate automatically three seconds after impact (recommended for lazy people).

Bomb has a very dense body, meaning that he is too heavy to even bounce slightly (he'll roll like a bowling ball instead), he is also great with crushing through stone with ease.

In the theme Short Fuse, when Bomb fiddles with the pigs' scientific equipment, he transformed into Shockwave Bomb! His new ability is much more powerful than his original and works similarly. It can be activated when the player taps the screen or a couple of seconds after he hits a surface. When his ability is activated, he sends out a growing circle of electricity to the objects around him, damaging and forcefully pushing them away, where most of the blocks are then completely obliterated.

    Angry Birds Seasons

Bomb appears from the very start of the game when it was first known as Angry Birds Halloween. After his first appearance in Trick or Treat, he is then on a playable character in all of the themes that follow.

Unlike all of the other installments of the Angry Birds series, Seasons keeps the characters' original designs, so Bomb is in his classic appearance.

Once again, Bomb's spot on his forehead is removed. However, just like Chuck's Red-like appearance, Bomb can be seen with his spot in multiple promotions for the original Angry Birds Halloween game. This includes the trailer and early cutscenes for the game which has since been removed. However, it has been proved through these cutscenes that Bomb's spot was light being shined off of him, as the spot appears in a different part of his body depending on the way he is positioned. Because of this, it can be assumed that the spot was removed because Rovio wanted Bomb to be more bird-like with feathers, rather than made like an actual bomb.

Like all of the other characters, Bomb has costumes that can be unlocked by the player.

Bomb, like all the other characters, can at times appear as the main character in specific themes for the game. (This happened in Ham Dunk, where he appeared in the cover art alongside Bubbles and Jay, Jake, and Jim.)

The Shockwave power-up is back in Angry Birds Seasons. It works completely similar to how it works in the Classic Angry Birds game. However, in the paid Ham Dunk levels, the power-up is converted into the Statefarm Bomb power-up, which's fuse and electric rays are red instead of blue.

Bomb has the same ability to explode as before, and not much is changed about his size, strength, or speed.

In water-themed levels, Bomb reacts pretty normally to water logic. However, it can be noted that if he hits a structure the second he resurfaces, the player should instantly activate his ability, as once he hits the blocks he will bounce off of them and go back into the water.

    Angry Birds Rio

Bomb does not appear early on in the game, but rather in the Beach Volley episode. He is not captured with Red, Chuck, Jay, Jake, and Jim, but it can be assumed that he travelled there in order to help them. This is the first time that Bomb isn't introduced when the game is first released, but through updates.

After his introduction level, he appears in all of the themes that follow.

Bomb and the other members of the flock manage to defeat Nigel and free all of the rare birds, and hijack the plane and go back to Piggy Island, where they arrive just in time to save the eggs from being stolen by the pigs once again.

Bomb and the other birds later on travel back to Rio to visit their friends Blu and Jewel, beginning the Rio 2 segment.

In this portion of levels, Bomb receives a different design like all the other characters. He is modeled after his Toons appearance, receiving slightly changed features in his beak, eyes, and eyebrows, and gets better shading and different outlining.

Bomb bears the same ability that he has in the previous two installments. No changes are made to his speed, strength, or size.

High Dive introduced water features to Rio, and work the same way that they do in Piglantis for Bomb.

It is notable that caged birds/dolphins and marmosets are much more tougher than the poppable pigs, so Bomb cannot destroy the targets as easily as he can with the pigs.

If the player activates his ability near Luiz in Beach Volley, then the dog will fly off into the air, and can destroy blocks and enemies with ease. This is a good strategy to use during the level, but the player must note that he will go after the beachballs, not the structures.

    Angry Birds Friends

Bomb appears as a playable character in Angry Birds Friends.

Bomb is the same as in previous slingshot games. When launched, if the player taps him, he will explode. He is very strong against stone, glass and wood. His explosion is very strong against materials and has an strong shockwave.

In the Star Cup, he can be leveled up by obtaining feathers.

Bomb also appeared purchasable in the Bird-O-Matic. He can wear any accessory and can be chosen as the player's avatar.

    Angry Birds Space

After Bomb went through a wormhole, he was transformed into Firebomb! However, he is the third character to be unlocked instead of Chuck (Lazer Bird) but his ability is the same, but given a brand new makeover. He accompanies with Ice Bird to not only get the Eggs back, but also collect the powerful Eggtroids.

    Bad Piggies

Bomb makes a cameo in Flight in the Night, where he appears asleep next to Red in one level. Even if the player attempts to land near him or wake him, he will not move and remain asleep. Though he appears in this level, he does not make an appearance in the rest of the levels or any of the other levels as an enemy.

    Angry Birds Go!

    Voice Actor: Pasi Ruohonen

Bomb appears in Angry Birds Go! as the second bird (3rd bird in Version 1) to be introduced in the game and is first seen in Seedway. After the player unlocks him, they can use him in any of the races as a playable character.

Like all of the other characters, Bomb receives his own 3D animation for the game. He also appears in his Angry Birds Toons animation style.

Bomb also had merchandising, having a Jenga playset as well as a Telepod figurine.

All of the characters have their own unique abilities in the game, and Bomb's is activated once his power-up beaker is filled. Following the trend of previous Angry Birds games, Bomb can explode, causing the birds and pigs near him to be knocked and jolted away.

While the ability may seem effective when Bomb is first unlocked, once the player unlocks stronger characters and progresses to harder levels Bomb will become less and less useful.

The ability is best used when Bomb is near other players, putting him at a disadvantage if the player is far behind other players.

    Angry Birds Epic

    Voice Actor: Pasi Ruohonen

Bomb: I can fight with piggies!

Bomb appears as one of the 5 playable characters in the story mode and is a main character in the game. Once he is unlocked, he is a playable character for the rest of the game. (excluding a portion where he is kidnapped at one part of the game)

Bomb appears in promotional art and trailers for the game.

Bomb, like all of the other playable characters, can be customized and upgraded to the player's preference provided that they have enough resources.

    Angry Birds POP!

    Voice Actor: Pasi Ruohonen

Bomb first appeared in the game as a limited edition character and was only available for a short period of time.

Later on, the game was changed to a regular Angry Birds game rather than an attachment to the Stella series, and the characters (excluding Stella) were changed to members of Red's flock. Bomb took what was originally Poppy's section, Beat The Clock.

In the Beat The Clock section, the player must assist Bomb in popping the bubbles and blocks. The player beats the level by popping all of the bubbles before the clock's countdown goes to 0.

In both of these segments, the player is given a limited amount of bubbles and if the player runs out, then the player loses the level.

Bomb, like all of the other characters, has his own special bubble that can be used when the player makes enough pairings. His pop, entitled the Explosive Pop, will pop a line of bubbles that the special bubbles are aiming at.

    Angry Birds Fight!

    Voice Actor: Pasi Ruohonen

Bomb appeared in Angry Birds Fight! as once again as the tritagonist. He was one out of the 6 playable characters the player could have chosen from and was the first character that the player was introduced to in the very beginning of the game. Other than being a playable character, he also appeared as an icon in the matching board.

Certain parts of the game used computer animation, such as the player's customizable characters. Bomb used computer animation when fighting other characters as well as some other parts of the game. He took on his Angry Birds Toons animation style and while other games had their own styles, Fight! takes character animation directly from the Toons series.

Like all of the other birds in the game, Bomb was customizable to the player's preference, and the player would be able to purchase costumes and weapons for Red with in-game currency.

As of August 1, 2017, the game has been discontinued and removed from the Play and App stores, and the servers have since been shut down.

The game wouldn't include direct gameplay with the birds, but rather a tile-matching objective. Matching 3 of the bird icons would have popped the birds out, and matching 4 or more would activate the specific bird's special ability. If 4 of Bomb's icons were matched, then he would explode and cover the panel board of the opponent in ashes.

Once the round was over, the two battling players began fighting, and the player's success would entirely be based on how much points they were able to gather together.

    Angry Birds 2

    I'm so happy about this!

Bomb appears in the first official sequel to the original game, Angry Birds 2, as once again one of the protagonists. He is unlocked after obtaining a key, which can be used to unlock a character of the player's choice, meaning that Bomb can be unlocked anytime. He returns with his classic ability but he is stronger.

The game also introduced computer animation for the birds and the pigs, which had never happened with the previous slingshot installments of the series. (which used pre-set separate sprites for when the bird is idle, flies, etc.) Bomb also appears in his Toons animation style, along with the voice used in the series.

He is strong against stone, glass or wood, he blows up after touching the screen or waiting for him to flash red and then explode. In this game, his ability is stronger, pushing blocks and structures after blowing up.

His card can be leveled up using feathers, which increases the points obtained after using him, his card will change form and change color, matching the power of it.

One of the slower sports-car bots, Drift requires patience and careful aim. He hurls slow-moving electrified shurikens that don't do immediate damage, but explode a half-second after impact, destroying entire structures. Hit the right block in a tower and the effect can be devastating. Its effect on flying foes is immediate, however, as the charged projectiles act like an electromagnetic pulse, dropping flying Pigs out of the air and stopping Walking Mortar Towers and Monoliths in their tracks, . Even better, the EMP effect has a blast radius that can take out multiple flying Pigs with a single shot.

He was first unlockable in the "2-Year Celebration!" Challenge Event, which ran from October 5 through October 14 2016. He cost a whopping 7500 Tokens to unlock (the highest cost for a character yet), which were earned through daily challenges in special stages. However, he could also be bought and unlocked instantly as part of the "Drift Bundle" in the first two days and the last two days of the Event, which included Drift, his Great Sword Accessory, and 1000 Gems, all for a mere $29.99 in real actual money. No, we're not kidding.

Combining Bomb's explosive nature with Wheeljack's explosive inventions can't be good for his productivity in his workshop. Ever so often he does successfully create new (and expensive) gadgets like the miniature Jackhammer, But it probably makes Ratchet all the more grumpy when he has to put him and his workshop back together.

His newest weapon/gadget is a salvo rocket launcher that fires a cluster of lobbed explosive missiles! Much more powerful and effective than those of that yellow Sunstorm Pig.

Wheeljack was newly introduced in December 2016, and was available for 7500 tokens in the game's Christmas event. Surprisingly, there was no real-money character bundle with Wheeljack for sale, but there was one in the next event that focused on getting just one accessory for him.

Grapple is an architect/artist and is good friends with Hoist. In this game, he works with the other Autobirds and Deceptihogs to demolish towers.

In battle, Grapple is rather unusual. His weapon is a lightning beam attack, but in terms of attack power, it’s extremely weak, even at level 15, de- cyberforming scenery at about twice the rate of Optimus Prime. Combined with his somewhat weak health makes him seem rather useless. However, if there is a close enough block or grounded pig to where the weapon starts firing, the nearest block or grounded pig will be teleported to that location. It can then be dragged around, and if the weapon stops in some way that involves becoming a different form, (vehicle, washing machine, scrambled body) it will be immobilized in place until he returns to humanoid form.

There are many ways to use this weapon to your advantage, like using the objects as wrecking balls, or using them as cover from enemy attacks. The best way to put Grapple to your advantage is to be creative, like Bomb!

Grapple follows the trend (No, not the OP characters thing, the other one) being available in the event of the same name for 10000 tokens.

Warpath's weapon is a piercing instant-hit laser something like the various Galvatron's, which obliterates most anything it hits as well as leaving a (weak) vortex in its wake. But the real power comes once he's leveled up a bit, which adds a hefty splash-damage explosion on contact with a target. Warpath can vaporize whole block towers with a single shot, and never needs to reload to boot!

But he does have one huge weakness: overheating. Too much rapid tap-blasting will make his gun overheat, and when targeting things that take more than one direct hit to destroy, such as Walking Mortar Towers, his weapon fires extremely rapidly and will overheat extremely quickly. The cooldown from an overheat takes several seconds, leaving him vulnerable, so tap responsibly, learn to un-target Mortar Towers quickly after one or two hits... and try to get some of his cooldown-improving accessories quickly!

There’s a lot wrong with this Omega Supreme: first of all, he is quite small. A little smaller than the combiners even! This is understandable though because how is this game gonna implement a character that is twice if not thrice as big as the Combiners, who already barely fit on the screen? Secondly, he is portrayed by bomb, even though Mighty Eagle would’ve been a much more logical choice and also hoped for by fans. But those two things are nothing compared to the third thing: HE IS IN THE GESTALT SQUAD! Even though he’s not a Combiner in any way! Well, at least the model looks good...

His weapon is a strong gold colored instant-hit laser that later becomes red. It seems to have the flying-up effect that for example Classic Bumblebee has.

    Angry Birds World Tour

    Angry Birds Ace Fighter

Bomb appeared in Angry Birds Ace Fighter, as once again a playable character and tritagonist. He appeared in promotional material and trailers for the game.

    Bomb's Description In-Game:

The main goal of Bomb is to enjoy life. He has no interest in tactics, strategic meetings or even tidying his room. He only feels happy when he's setting off an explosion or making mischief

Rovio announced that the game would be discontinuing due to adjustment of structure platform, as well as an expired contract with Siamgame. On September 6, 2016, the game was removed from the Play and App stores and recharge was turned off, making the game nearly impossible. On October 10, servers were shut down.

The gameplay was based on a Shoot em up style, with the player located at the bottom of the screen as the enemies fly downwards from the very top. Not much was known about Bomb's role specifically in the game. It was known that he was one of 4 different playable characters, and could be paired with different kinds of planes.

    Angry Birds Blast!

Bomb appears in Angry Birds Blast! as one of the main characters and like most of them, he has to be freed to complete the level. His gameplay is shown below:

Like most of the characters, he doesn't use his ability in-game. He appears in the black blocks, which if combined with 2 or more of the same color, will free him. Sometimes he gets angry and destroys other blocks as he is freed. He also appears free sometimes.

    Angry Birds Islands

    Angry Birds Evolution

Bomb (labeled as Classic Bomb) is a character added to the game to promote the franchises 10th Anniversary. He was formerly unplayable but was later added as an obtainable bird in events, along with his Master form.

Unlike other birds in the game, he is a classic version of a bird and doesn't have limbs.

    Angry Birds Reloaded

Bomb appears as a playable character in Angry Birds Reloaded.

Bomb is the same as in previous slingshot games. When launched, if the player taps him, he will explode. He is very strong against stone, glass and wood. His explosion is very strong against materials and has an strong shockwave.

    Notes

    • Bomb in the original game has three pre-detonation sprites, the first one depict him glowing in a very faint red light, the second one shows bomb trying to hold back the explosion as the light around him glows slightly more brighter, the third and final piece of the animation shows him in a full red glow, struggling to hold back the explosion before he gives up and detonates.
    • Bomb also has a unused "injured post-impact" sprite.

    Angry Birds Transformers

    • Drift and Wheeljack's designs is a reference to their Generation One selves, but Drift has a helmet that his Age of Extinction Counterpart has, which has been a staple to drift since then.
    • Before he was an Autobot, Drift was known as Deadlock, who was a Decepticon assassin, before he switched to the Autobots side.
