While most of the games are successes, the other games such as Angry Birds Island and Angry Birds Islands were failed making them discontinued before they fully release during soft-launch.

A very, VERY common timeline misconception regarding the Classic Continuity......
Among the Angry Birds fanbase, there seems to be a misconception that is shared among almost the entire fandom: The Angry Birds Movie and any related medias (animations, games, Etc.) are canonically connected to all the Angry Birds medias that came before it, sure, one could look on the surface and suggest that the movies are somehow a prequel to the original game, but we people here at the ABU Wiki would like to suggest otherwise.
