    Bad Piggies, by size
The Bad Piggies, commonly referred as Pigs, are the main antagonists in the Angry Birds series, who are constantly stealing their unhatched eggs, desiring to cook and eat them. In order to prevent the Birds from taking back their eggs, the King Pig commands his army of pigs to construct many buildings and structures to keep the birds from reaching him.

All of the pigs are light green in color, and come in several variations. First, there is the basic pig that comes in three sizes, small, medium, and large. The basic pigs are usually the ones with the accessories and the accessories change the whole name. For example, a small, medium, or large pig with a mining helmet would be called a Mining Pig. A small, medium, or large pig with a hardhat would be called a Hardhat Pig. Then, there are the pigs that wear helmets, referred to as Armor Pigs (also called Helmet Pigs), the second in command pig with a mustache called the Mustache Pig, and finally, their leader, the King Pig.

Starting from the fourth episode, The Big Setup, the pigs will begin to wear different hats and/or accessories, including hard hats, pumpkin hats, pumpkins, ghost sheets, winter gear, Santa hats, cowboy hats, sombreros, and bows. Despite these hats being placed on the pigs, the pigs still remain the same species, as they can be hit without the hat being destroyed, or vice versa.

Every pig hit in the action awards 5,000 points, but slightly more if the hat it's wearing is also destroyed in the process, if any is present.

When a player fails a level, any pig smiles and giggles (except for Mustache Pig, who closes their eyes, albeit with a contented look on their face). Mustache Pigs only smile in the Google Chrome version.

    Trivia

    • As stated by Rovio, the pigs have very little intelligence, and usually are focused on the topic food and eating. However, their building skills show improvement as the game progresses, suggesting the topic of survival of the fittest applies for the pigs, or maybe, since the pigs get bigger as the game goes along , maybe the correct phrase is "survival of the fattest"!
    • Interestingly, there are pig hoofprints on the ground during the cutscenes and the cinematic trailerwhen the pigs steal the eggs , even though they have no hooves, let alone any legs. Very rarely, but not in the game, players can see a Pig hand, hanging in mid-air. They can see it in this video when the theKing Pig holds knives and forks in the air imagining himself having the eggs .
    • It has been proven that Pigs have telekinetic powers. In the Christmas Comics, Chef Pig reads a book, then runs up a long flight of stairs with the book next to him. Chef Pig shows this book to the king pig, demonstrating this ability. Also, Little Timmy is holding a crutch despite having no hands. Furthermore, it explains how the pigs build the structures in the game.
    • The design for the pigs change in the Google Chrome version .
    • There are very fond of Females as seen in the Angry Birds Bing Episode 4.
