Eight Birds with Blu and Jewel

In the Angry Birds series, the Birds are the main protagonists, which come in a variety of different species. Their main goal is to retrieve the unhatched eggs that their arch-nemesis, the Bad Piggies, stole. Since then the birds care more about revenge than anything, and hurl themselves at the various structures the Pigs constructed. There are 10 playable birds (but 19 actual birds), including the Mighty Eagle and the Mighty Dragon (Year of the Dragon.)

The bird's only known allies include the Mighty Eagle, the Mighty Dragon, and in the crossover title Angry Birds Rio, Blu and Jewel, who are later separated and you can just use Blu because Jewel is captured .When a level is completed with unused birds, the player is awarded with 10,000 points for each bird.

Known Species

There are nineteen known different species of birds, but twelve playable birds. The Mighty Dragon is the only one that is not a bird. Here is a list of the all of the known Angry Birds:

Utility

There is only one utility used by the Birds. It is unknown if there is any other possible usage of other utilities by the Birds.

Special Tricks/Powers

If the screen is touched or clicked while a bird is moving, it will do a special trick or a unusual noise. This is unavailable if the bird has touched another object, including another bird.

Red Bird - Nothing; says "Caw Caw" or "Gnaah".
Blue Bird - Multiplies into 3, and each clone is bumped slightly up or down.
Yellow Bird - Gains more speed (its speed becomes equal to a certain speed, no matter what speed it was moving before) and makes a more of a high pitched sound than before.
Black Bird - Able to explode in mid-air or on impact.
White Bird - Drops an egg which then explodes. The bird itself becomes shriveled and is propelled fast upwards and to the right. The body still collides and can be used as a powerful Red Bird.
Green Bird - Opens its beak to fly the opposite way than it was heading, maintaining the same speed and vertical direction.
Big Brother Bird - Same effects as the Red Bird. (Exeptions: Moans, and breaks through anything except ground.)
Orange Bird - Expands to huge size, like a balloon. After impact, it deflates.
Mighty Eagle - Smashing everything and causes an earthquake, eliminating any pig on the level.
Blu and Jewel - Flies and smashes through Marmosets.
Blu himself - Causes him to fly out of control and crashes through Marmosets and Bird Cages.
Mighty Dragon - Smashing everything like the Mighty Eagle, then looping back again. Also eliminating any pig in the path.

Trivia

The Red Bird,The Blue Bird,and sometimes the yellow bird are the most useless of all the Birds.
The space birds will be written down on the day Angry Birds Space comes out or a couple of weeks or days or maybe a couple of months.
On the main menu of the original game, when the player touches any of the flying birds, (not including the ones far off into the background), that bird will make its signature noise. (This works only on the normal game)
