THIS IS FILLER SO THAT YOU DON'T SEE ANYTHING IN CASE OF A MISTAKE So obviously, the Angry Birds Movie is a prequel, as it doesn't involve King Smooth Cheeks and did not include the Blues until the very end at their hatching sequence. So how does it connect to the story? Why is it that in the games, the Birds are wings and feetless? Why is it that there are duplicates of the same exact bird? And why don't the other random background birds appear? It is also notable that the Toons versions of the locations are so different, and of course the Piggy Island we know is entirely different. So the thing here is this theory - the Pigs have captured the most dominant, most skilled birds- the ones who, of course, have special abilities, and took them to a different location, also inhabited by pigs, known as the Piggy Island we know better. Of course, the Birds have 0 idea where they are so they have to be able to take care of the eggs that are brought in by the pigs, which they wish to eat. So the Birds have to keep on hiding on random places in Piggy Island. As for the Stella flock- each individual bird in that game also has special abilities- indicating a threat to the pigs. So they are taken to a far away island- which we know as Golden Island, which is also inhabited by Pigs. And this also explains why Hal and Bubbles didn't appear in Angry Birds 2 - as they are shown to be close friends and likely traveled away looking for a way to get home. It also explains why Stella wasn't in Angry Birds 2 - she ended up finding Golden Island. And why is the format of the game so strange, with limbless birds? Well, as shown, the birds don't draw themselves with feet or wings, just like how we draw stick figures so crudely. So the whole game series is just the birds in one big story book of some sort - reenacting the great war between the birds and the pigs. And this may possibly mean that Leonard is still alive- in the Piggy Island in the movie, while his son is under control of the Piggy Island we know. |
