I'll try to keep this as short and to the point as possible, but I was thinking that we (the wiki) partake in a "Wiki clean up week". Basically, the entire wiki can help nail out some of the more 'daunting' tasks such as: • Creating 'wanted' pages • Findiing articles that need to be deleted or be marked with a stub tag • Finding and reporting or fixing vandalism • Improving articles with the stub tag • Fixing broken links • Create redirect pages • ... And just generally clean up the wiki
Now I know some people may not like the idea of writing an entire article; that's fine, I totally understand that. But even adding just a basic description of whatever the article is about, then marking it with an under pigstruction tag for someone else later to improve on can help out a lot.
I feel like this post is going on for a bit too long so I'll finish up by saying this. I know this is kinda what we already do, but I feel like there comes a time where you need to take a week to tackle the 'big stuff' and getting them finished, after all, the wiki will benefit from it once it is done.
If I have forgotten anything, leave a comment. If there are any admins that support or oppose this idea, please also leave a comment. Or if you just want to say something in reply, go ahead and leave a comment.
Thanks for taking your time to read this<ac_metadata title="Wiki "clean up day" (or week)"> </ac_metadata>
