The Yellow Bird (A.K.A. Maching Bird, Canary Bird, Fast Bird or Speedy Bird) are a species of birds in the Angry Birds series.

Their triggerable rush ability allows them to pick up speed to cause the most possible damage to the pigs and their structures. Much like many of the other birds, its strength usually varies depending on the block and angle that is struck. The yellow bird has a particular strength against wood obstacles, able to penetrate several walls easily particularly with help from its abililty. Strangely, they're weak against glass despite glass having a much weaker strength than wood.

Trivia

• Besides the Mighty Eagle, Yellow Bird is the only bird that's not in a round shape.
• When it turns into a Corpse, the Yellow Bird rolls, even though it has flat sides.
• In Angry Birds Chrome and the original Angry Birds, the Yellow Bird's appearance differs in the Beginning Cutscenes. Before the update, Yellow Bird had 2 yellow feathers at the top of its head, black eyebrows and eyes, and was about the size of a Blue Bird.
• The Boomerang Bird makes the Yellow Bird's pain noises when being a corpse.
• Even though the Red Bird is the mascot of the game, the Yellow Bird is the mascot of Rovio itself.
• In the Rovio Angry Birds comic, Yellow bird is always described as the one that is unsure of himself and has little confidence in spite of the smart and determined look that is usually on its face. Many People is Yellow bird is lazer bird because in shape.
