Golden Egg Levels

Golden Egg Levels are secret levels in the Angry Birds series of games that are unlocked by collecting Golden Eggs, which are hidden throughout the games. Many of these are simply bonus stages that usually feature something that would not occur in the regular game, such as upside-down pigs suspended on ceilings, a large amount of TNT crates, or an abundance of many pigs gathered in groups. Golden Egg stages are almost always easy and require little to no effort to defeat the pigs. However, Golden Egg Levels unlocked in later stages of the game are often more difficult.

Regardless of difficulty, none of the Golden Egg levels have a preset score that must be met to obtain three stars. The player is instead awarded a single Golden Egg Star by simply finishing the level.

Additionaly, the player is awarded with Golden Eggs if he completes an episode with 3 stars on every level in a theme.
