Smuggler's Den is the first episode in Angry Birds Rio. The player must free the smuggled birds from cages. The

birds get kidnapped from their home and taken to Rio. They see birds in cages, so they free the birds. You can collect the golden pineapples along the way. Blu and Jewel are in level 2-15, the final level of Smuggler's Den. The targets are no longer pigs, instead they are birds trapped in cages. The birds will fly away after being freed by the Angry Birds.
