South Beach - 2 is the third level of South Beach in Angry Birds Epic. It is a Normal stage. When this level is finished, the player may spin for 1 Shield (86 Health) (+2 compared to Red's original shield). (3 Flotsams if replaying) The Brute is introduced here. He deals heavy damage but needs to charge for 3 turns per attack.

This level will also teach you on how to use the birds' secondary skill.

    Battle Hint

Common Pigs (Appears in large numbers.)

Common pigs appear in large numbers and don't have special rules usually.

Hint: Deal with the tallest pigs first. They pose the most threat.

    Cutscene

Note: This cutscene occurs after clearing this stage.

Red was within reach of Chuck. Prince Porky immediately realized that he needed to stop Red from freeing him, resulting in him ordering the two Rogues to go and lock Chuck up in Pig Prison.

    Poke

    Deals 7 damage.

This variant only appears before the player completes Desert Pig Castle, after which he will start having Stumble as a passive ability.

    After unlocking Matilda

Note: The Wealthy Rogue rarely appears, but does not always appear.

Note: Since the combination can vary, only one of each type of enemy's stats will be listed here.

    Brute

    Run away

Charge: 3 turns. Runs away, never to be seen again!

    Full Pockets

Passive: Drops 1 snoutling per hit received.

Wealthy Rogues randomly appear throughout the map, and are fairly common. They drop 50 snoutlings upon defeat.

    Here are the combinations:

    Level encounter
    Enemy Number encountered
    Brute 0 1
    Stick Pig 3 0

    Strategy

Note: In this wiki, supporting abilities are called secondary skills. Secondary skills are used to activate special helpful effects for the birds. Red's secondary skill is the shield, so use it to reduce damage!

    Before unlocking Chuck

    1. Attack the Brute every turn.
    2. When the Brute is ready to use his attack, use Red's secondary skill to reduce the amount of health lost.
    3. Use the Rage Chili immediately when it has been filled.

    After unlocking Chuck

Same strategy as the one above. However, a Stick Pig has been added. Take down the Stick Pig first, then attack the Brute. When he is about to attack Red (the effect of Red's Attack is to force target to attack him for 3 turns), use his Protect and Chuck's Shock Shield to protect Red. You will be able to defeat the Brute before he can attack again.

    After unlocking Matilda

Take down the Wealthy Rogue (if he appears) first to receive 50 Snoutling. If there is a Brute in the wave, remove all weaker enemies on the field first. Then use Red's secondary skill (Protect) to protect the targeted bird when Brute is about to attack. If there is no brute on the field, attack all the pigs every turn.

    Summary

Brutes and Stick Pigs are Common Pigs so they should not be too much of a problem. However, Brutes deal 105 damage, so use Red's support ability to block 55% (57.75) of it, making the damage 47.25. Wealthy Rogues appear rarely, so defeat them to get 50 Snoutlings. Don't forget that Level 3 Stick Pigs can appear as well.
