The Big Setup is the fourth episode of Angry Birds and consists of three themes with 15 levels each. This episode's prime focus and mainly used bird is the Big Brother Bird. In this chapter, the Pigs trap the Birds and steal the eggs. The Big Brother Bird doesn't like this, so he tries to fight back. During his journey, the Big Brother Bird frees the Boomerang Bird from captivity.

The Big Setup includes the ninth, tenth, and eleventh themes, each with 15 levels. The three themes take the player through previously seen levels from the first seven themes (Poached Eggs, Mighty Hoax, and the first half of Danger Above) which the Pigs are remaking. As such, many of the pigs wear hard hats, and the levels themselves contain construction sites in the background.

• In theme 1 the world color is light blue.
• In theme 2 the world color is pale blue.
• In theme 3 the world color is dark olive green.

The Big Brother Bird sees that his fellow birds are trapped.

• This is the only episode cutscene with no symbols above any of the bird's heads.
• This is also the only cutscene with the Green Bird and the Big Brother Bird. (see right)
• In Angry Birds Seasons, pigs wear hard hats in Seasons Greedings as well.
• This episode takes place in a constuction site.
• This episode's levels are the same in Poached Eggs , Mighty Hoax , and Danger Above , only rearranged.
