The Flock is the name for the core group of birds in the Angry Birds series. They are a group of birds who live on an unnamed island on the southwestern Pacific Ocean and fight the Bad Piggies, who continously try to steal their eggs.

Original Flock

The Flock originally consisted of five birds (seven if you count the Blues as three) and they battled the Pigs from the moment the King Pig decided to start stealing eggs. The original five were:

The original Flock fought two battles with the Pigs before any new members were added.

Expanding the Ranks

Boomerang Bird

In the course of their battles with the Pigs, the Birds encountered a green bird with a long beak who was kidnapped by the Bad Piggies. The birds freed him and he was later able to help them defeat the Pig Bosses, save the eggs and destroy a small Pig fortress. In gratitude, he was awarded three stars and inducted as a new member. The same thing happened with Terence, the Big Brother Bird, when the Pigs kidnapped the Flock, including Boomerang Bird. He was the first new member of the flock.

Big Brother Bird

After several victories against the Pigs, the Flock's luck turned and the entire crew was kidnapped by the King Pig. The kidnapping was witnessed by Terence. Usually a solitary creature, Terence set off to rescue The Flock. He first freed Boomerang Bird, then defeated the Pig Bosses and freed his avian friends. Big Brother Bird was awarded membership in The Flock and has been seen with them ever since.

Orange Bird

With Terence's might and Boomerang Bird's unique talent added to their ranks, The Flock was successful in repelling the Pigs' attempts at stealing their eggs. One Halloween, The Blue Birds noticed a new Orange Bird who had inadvertently gotten kidnapped by the Pigs. They set off to rescue him, but found he was more than capable of rescuing himself. Orange Bird has been seen on several adventures since and is presumed to be a full time member of The Flock.

Pink Bird

Pinnk Bird joined the Flock in the Angry Birds Seasons episode Back to School she is shown to blow bubbles at the pigs which knocks them off cliffs, it is currently known she joiined The Flock by sending three Medium Pigs and a Helmet Pig down a cliff by using a bubble shaped like an Egg.

In the course of the battles with the Pigs, The Flock has traveled to many different locations and environments, including the desert, underground caves and beaches. The Pigs never rest in their quest to steal the eggs and the Flock often has to retrieve their eggs on holidays and special occasions

At an indeterminate time, the Flock was captured as rare birds and taken to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where they fought with Blu, Jewel, and their friends against Nigel the cockatoo, Mauro, and his marmosets. Several members did not appear originally in Rio, but arrived after the others, so it is possible they were not captured originally and made their way to Rio to rescue the team.

In addition to Rio, the team has also traveled to China twice and Japan, where they wore a variety of traditional Japanese outfits.

Space Flock

In another adventure, The Flock were whisked into Space via a wormhole, gained super powers and fought the Space King and the Space Pigs. White Bird, Boomerang Bird,and Pink Bird appear to have been left behind on the island. This new Space Flock also joined with an extraterrestrial bird known as the Ice Bird and the Space Egg.But Boomerang Bird(Surge Bird),White Bird(Sakara Bird) and Pink Bird(Stella Bird) came initntly to help.
