Shockwave is a transformation that appears in the Angry Birds series. It is a state of Bomb, achieved by the combination of electricity and a chemical.
As Shockwave, Bomb is mostly similar to his normal counterpart. The only difference is the tip in his fuse-like feather, which is sky blue-colored instead of yellow.
In Angry Birds (game), Shockwave is a Power-Up that is first introduced in Tutorial 0-13. He can also be used in any other level in the game as long as the player has one. Shockwave can be obtained by buying him in the shop or by random chance at The Mighty League and gifts.
When using Shockwave in gameplay, the current bird will get out of the Slingshot to give way to Shockwave. Shockwave has the same strength as Bomb. In addition, when the player taps the screen or Shockwave collides with an obstacle, he will proceed to unleash a growing circle of electricity that will slightly push away the objects and electrocute the enemies it touches. After this, Shockwave will disappear.
The costs of Shockwave at the shop are as follows:

However, as with other Power-Ups in the game, he can only be used once. Shockwave can be obtained by buying him in the shop, by completing quests, or by random chance by opening gifts.

When the player uses Shockwave enough times, he will be leveled up. This will let him unleash a more powerful and bigger circle of electricity than before.
